Bernard Grancher delivers a suite of gritty, beatless overdriven industrialisms which flow out to fully formed beat driven movements across the space of this nine track tape. Coming on like prime period TG Industrial Records wares which should perfectly sit on the shelf next to those Cabaret Voltaire/Richard H. Kirk/ Chris Carter IRC outings, this is a fine collection which has specifically been built for maximum sound benefit as a cassette release – it sounds brilliantly authentic.
Presented as an opening salvo for a related splatter vinyl LP coming later in the year from Castles in Space, this is a super limited opportunity to hear 1980 in 2020.
